Why is tversity not working

All was fine but since I got my last windows update, and tried out the tediously slow media center, TVersity now seems to crash every time I try refresh the library.

I have ensured that obvious locations program install folder, user AppData folders have permissions correctly set, but that didn't seem to help. I use TVersity to access audio and image files, mostly audio, located on my desktop computer via android mobile devices and Roku units on my home wifi network.

But I must have changed something because now when I access Tversity from any of my devices I no longer get access to any indices, I only see the list of folders containing the individual files. I have uninstalled and reinstalled TVersity but it has made no difference. To do this requires TVersity to put out an app for Synology. Thank you. Bigwozza wrote:. Hello all As the title said I have just updgraded to win 10 and now cant use tversity to stream to my smart tv, I keep getting check network on my tv and tversity wont work.

After installing Tversity on the desktop, I basically am getting the very same errors as first stated in this post by the OP. Also to note is that the Tversity service does not start after reboot even though the option is selected in the settings.

So investigating further, I opened up services. For me, it will be easiest to just re-install WinXP64 on the desktop and not disable so many components and services with nLite.

And I assume all will be well. As far as the issue of it not starting…I hope this information in some way helps resolve the issue… Maybe you can find a way to fix those services or re-install just those few, without having to resort to reformatting, for those of us in which that is not an option.
